Is this a diagnosis?

No. These are screening and self-understanding questionnaires. A score can suggest that a fuller assessment might be worth considering, but only a qualified professional can diagnose autism, ADHD or a mental health condition.

Where do my answers go?

Nowhere. They are scored by code running in your browser and saved in your browser’s local storage. We have no server that receives them, and you can check: the site works with your internet switched off once it has loaded.

Can I use it offline?

Yes. After your first visit the site is stored by your browser, and you can install it as an app from your browser’s menu. Assessments, results and the PDF all work offline.

How do I delete my data?

“Delete all my data” at the bottom of every page removes your results, saved answers and Pro unlock from this browser at once. Clearing your browser’s site data does the same.

My results are missing on another device

That is the privacy trade-off: with no account, results stay in the browser where you took the assessment. Download a PDF if you want a copy elsewhere.

What does Pro cost?

$14.99, once. There is no subscription. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card.

I bought Unmasked Pro in the Android or iPhone app. Does it unlock the website?

Not yet. App store purchases and web purchases are separate for now, so a purchase in one does not unlock the other. We know that is not ideal.

How do I restore Pro?

On the Pro page, enter the email you used at checkout. We email a link that unlocks Pro in the browser you open it in. If you use the installed app, paste the link into the Pro page instead.

Why does the app have more than the website?

The Unmasked app includes more questionnaires and everyday tools. The website focuses on the core autism questionnaires, which work well on their own in a browser.
