CATI: your autistic trait profile Pro
Forty-two statements across six areas of life. Instead of one score against a cutoff, you get a profile: which traits stand out for you, and which are quieter. It takes about ten minutes.

What it measures
The Comprehensive Autistic Trait Inventory measures six trait dimensions: social interactions, communication, social camouflage, cognitive (in)flexibility, self-regulatory behaviours such as stimming, and sensory sensitivity.
Who it is for
Adults who want a fuller, more nuanced picture than a single screening number, including people who already know they are autistic and want to understand their own shape.
How long it takes
About 10 minutes for 42 questions. You can stop and come back: your answers so far are saved to your account (or guest account) as you go.
How it is scored
Each statement is rated from 1 (definitely disagree) to 5 (definitely agree). Five statements are worded the other way round and score in reverse.
Each dimension adds up seven statements (7 to 35); the total runs from 42 to 210.
There is no cutoff and no positive or negative result. What matters is the shape: which dimensions are highest and lowest for you.
What it cannot tell you
- It describes traits; it does not diagnose autism.
- Without a cutoff, a total cannot tell you whether a fuller assessment is warranted on its own; read it alongside a screener such as the AQ-10 or RAADS-R.
- Self-report depends on self-knowledge, and masking can make some traits hard to see in yourself.
Screening, not diagnosis. Your result describes your answers. Only a qualified professional can diagnose autism, ADHD or a mental health condition.
